Most of the media is discussing how the mighty Miami Heat lost this series against the Dallas Mavericks and LeBron James’ collapses in the fourth quarter throughout the six games, but instead journalists should be focusing on how remarkable Dallas played throughout the series to win the franchises first ever NBA championship.
It was the first NBA championship for every single member on the Dallas roster and owner Mark Cuban, but with this being a site about the Suns, it was two Mavericks in particular that caught the attention of basketball fans throughout the city of Phoenix. (more…)

It is never easy to watch the playoffs with the Suns not participating in them. Despite the Suns missing the postseason for the second time in three seasons, there have been a lot for Phoenix fans to enjoy over the last couple of months of postseason play.

NBA Playoffs: Predicting The First Round
The Suns are already looking toward next season, but more than half of the NBA will be playing games this weekend to fight to play well into June for a chance at a NBA championship. With this being the last game of the year for both teams, the Spurs still have something to play for. San Antonio is tied with Chicago for the best overall record in the league. While the Spurs will be in Phoenix, the Bulls will be in New Jersey to face the lowly Nets. Some believe that homecourt advantage doesn’t mean a lot in the playoffs, but it doesn’t hurt to have Game 7 of the NBA Finals on your home floor. (more…)
Phoenix Suns Showing Fight, Heart to Close Out Season
With the season all but over, the Suns could have very easily packed things up and started making their plans for the long summer ahead, but with just one game left, they have done no such thing.
If you just look at their record during the month of April, you would probably want me to be drug tested. Phoenix’s lone victories this month have come to the lowly Los Angeles Clippers and two victories against the Minnesota Timberwolves, one of which came last night in a thrilling game. Their losses have come mostly to playoff bound teams and several of them have been blowouts. (more…)
