Steve Nash Should be Furious With the Phoenix Suns
I was watching ESPN’s NBA draft coverage this morning when the most alarming story came across the screen. The Phoenix Suns had been holding talks with the Minnesota Timberwolves about sending Steve Nash in trade for Minnesota’s number two pick.
I was furious and Nash should be as well. Anyone who has read my previous columns knows I make no bones about being a Nash homer, but even the most passive Suns fan should be appalled by this. Thankfully, talks have ended but that doesn’t unring that bell. (more…)

It is never easy to watch the playoffs with the Suns not participating in them. Despite the Suns missing the postseason for the second time in three seasons, there have been a lot for Phoenix fans to enjoy over the last couple of months of postseason play.
Of course, the early exits by the hated Spurs and the Lakers are at the top of the list. A Look Forward to the Phoenix Suns Offseason
Now that the season is over we come upon another season of tumult. The burning question is do we reload or rebuild. There is a core that can be built around but before construction, there must first be deconstruction.

Phoenix Suns Drop Fourth Straight Game
With the playoffs all but out of reach, the main thing that the Suns have to do is compete night in and night out to close out the season. They did it for 36 minutes tonight against the Thunder, but laid a stinker in the fourth quarter in their 116-98 defeat for their fourth straight loss.
Going into the fourth, Phoenix only trailed OKC by six, but a quick run in the first couple of minutes of the quarter by the Thunder put the game out of reach for the Suns. At the 1:05 mark, lead official Ken Mauer ejected both Zabian Dowdell and Aaron Brooks out of the game in a move that you never see. The ejections will result in fines for both players. You have to feel for Dowdell, who is only making the league minimum. (more…)
