Turnovers, Poor Third Quarter Cost Phoenix Suns
Need one word to describe the Suns efforts in last nights game? Pathetic.
Trailing from the start, a poor third quarter in which they were outscored by 14 in 12 minutes helped put the Suns away for good. Denver would go on to win 116-97. Game Preview: Mavs at Suns
The Mavericks and Suns will face one another later tonight in the last game on the NBA schedule before the start of the All-Star break this weekend in Los Angeles. Phoenix will be looking to get that much closer to the eighth seed for the playoffs. They currently stand just two games out. (more…)

This will be a perfect opportunity for Childress to show Alvin Gentry what he can do considering that he has been receiving inconsistent minutes for the past month now. (more…)

Denver was without their superstar forward Carmelo Anthony for nearly the entire game due to flu-like symptoms, but they had a few guys step up in his absence. (more…)
