It’s the eve of the draft and the Phoenix Suns will be on the clock with the 13th pick if they do not find a way to move up. The Greg One has already gone on record as a member of the Jimmer Fredette fan club. However, with Utah one pick ahead of the Suns and the growing interest Fredette is getting from teams in the top ten, it looks like there is no way he will make it to the Valley if the Suns don’t move up.
So once and for all, after watching the draft boards, the televised coverage, the rumor mill and listening to Suns brass on the local airwaves, here is my prediction for the thirteenth pick. Drumroll please. (more…)

Despite the draft being less than 48 hours away, talk continues to be around Steve Nash’s future in a Suns uniform.
According to the New York Post’s Marc Berman, the Knicks are having discussions to bring the Suns point guard over to the Big Apple. In an article that was posted today on the Post’s web site, Berman discussed a trade that simply would be a swap of Nash for Chauncey Billups, who was part of the Carmelo Anthony deal late last season. Why the Phoenix Suns Shouldn’t Draft Jimmer Fredette
My blogging counterpart Greg Williams wrote yesterday on why the Suns should draft Jimmer Fredette in the upcoming draft later this month. Even though I personally like Fredette, I don’t think the Suns should draft him and go in a different with their one and only pick in this year’s draft.
Of course, there are a lot of things to like about Fredette. The first thing you notice about him is the eye-popping numbers that he produced in his senior season at BYU. He scored 20+ points in 35 of his 37 games played. Some of his most impressive feats include 47 points against Utah, 42 against Colorado State, 43 against San Diego State and 52 against New Mexico. A Look Forward to the Phoenix Suns Offseason
Now that the season is over we come upon another season of tumult. The burning question is do we reload or rebuild. There is a core that can be built around but before construction, there must first be deconstruction.
Last season the question was keep Amar’e Stoudemire or let him walk. This season the same question lingers over Steve Nash. What should the Suns do this offseason? Here is a player-by-player breakdown of The Greg One’s plan for Suns improvement, starting at the top. (more…)
